The Iona Times

Why is it that without motivation nothing at all gets done? I just started this site, yet it is taking precedence over doing work. Why is this? I dont understand it, but I will make some attempt at a hypothesis. I think that when a person has work that they have to do, they dont have the desire to do it simply because it is forced upon them. I have to do this 3-page paper on a journalism topic, and I want to do it, but Im not. Im sitting here writing about why Im not doing it. Im sure in the next few days, weeks, months, years, etc..., I will come up with tons of interesting things to write here, but for now Im using this simply as a tool to keep me from having to do real work. OK now Im bored of this, so work it is.

What is the point of this blog? Well we learned all about blogs today in Journalism class and I decided Iona needed a blog to tell people what is going on here from a student's uncensored perspective. Hopefully that is what this will prove to be.
